From CPABOLTING

I have gotten all kinds of emails and facebooks asking how the unveiling
went. This is the email my Mom had to say:

Thanks Honey, I am so blown away! I had to do some serious reining
in of my emotions because of the children. Nothing should ruin the joy of
Christmas for them. You have put a wonderful slant on things for them
by your thoughtfulness. I will write a nice letter to the Burners in thanks
for their beautiful work. I'd also like to write to Harvey for his awesome design.

Now you have the title for your song---The Last Wave.

Love you and will see you in a minute!

Mom

Thanks for all the interest. I am most pleased with everything about the
guitar and the experience with the Burners. It is an exceptional
instrument.

We have a few small items to do to finish this guitar up - but took some time to do these today.

Enjoy

I can tell you after playing this guitar for a while, I love it and because it is within arm's reach from my seat at the dinner table, I play it pretty much daily. I so appreciate the Burners and all the work they did to make it special and unique. Thanks fellows!

If you are thinking about a handbuilt, I could not give them any higher of a recommendation.

What a great tribute! I am a long time surfer since 1964 to be exact and love the headstock and waves. I am also a proud owner of a Olson SJ cedar over IRW. How does the redwood top sound in comparison to cedar? It is stunning without doubt.

I would be able to tell you they sound similar...the cedar seems more responsive than the redwood...but who knows...

I realized that I had changed web servers and many of the photos were broken in the process. They have been fixed as of this morning. All back on the thread for you Keith.

Thanks again!

It still is my most played guitar since I can reach it from the dinner table LOL

It still sounds amazing and I haven changed the strings on it...maybe ever. Maybe I will do that today!
