Which Vocal Preamp for Bose S1 Pro
I believe for me to get the most volume out of my Bose S1 Pro I'm going to have to preamp my guitar and vocals. I really like my Baggs Para DI for my guitar, but I'm having a hard time picking something for vocals. I know I could just use a small mixer, but I'd like to have something more durable like a pedal. I've looked at the TC Helicon mic preamps and they're geared mostly for effects. The EAE mixers are nice but pricy. I'd like to spend around $200 or less.

TC Mic Mechanic 2 is currently $20 lower priced than normal. Looks to check a few boxes based on what you're after.

Have you thought about getting a phantom power box and using a condenser mic?
I find that when I do that with mine I notice a dramatic increase in volume when using my blue 300 with power than when I use a Sure SM58. |

This one works good. But there
Are alot of inline mic pres. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...-mic-activator |
I just purchased a TC Helicon Perform VG for my S1 Pro. All the dials close at hand. I use a power cell to power it and use the guitar out to feed my Optima Air, which I also use a power cell for power.
I use the “Tone” in default setting and a little reverb and little delay. Simple box to set and leave alone. Just adjust levels as needed. |

What are you using? |
TC's Voicetone T1 is my secret weapon.. if I could only bring 1 pedal...this would the the one.

This pedal produces a super rich tone that, in my opinion, works great with my voice. I can sing high and low and the lows are clear. Clarity on the lows for vox can be tough to achieve through a lot of systems. |
