import strat neck bolts, compatibility
 

Ok hello all, I have a few import strat copies.. that have very cheap neck hard ware.. bolts that is... any one have luck with replacing these screw bolts with a higher grade hardware.. is the sizing fairly universal? The cheap ones that came on the guitar are very chewed up.. opinions? Just need some decent hardware.

I don’t think you will see a difference in size of the necks bolts. If you order some replacements, compare them to the ones you remove before you install them. Also, I recommend putting some wax or some bar soap (not liquid soap!) on the screw threads before screwing then in.
