Condenser mic into Vox Mini5 amp

I'm still playing around with my new AT2035 mic, and learning how to best use it. One of my hoped for uses is to play it through an amplifier, namely my Vox Mini5. I know that will require a source of phantom power, and that's what my questions are about.

1. Do I purchase a simple, in-line phantom power supply? Or...

2. Would an inexpensive tube preamp with phantom power be a better choice?

3. Will I need an impedance transformer if I am plugging into the Mic input of the amp? How about the instrument input?

Thank you in advance, all-knowing wizards of the forum!!!

For a condenser you need a micpre with phantom power. It can be tube or solid state.
