Bourgeois OMC fingerstyle Brazilian/Adi top Steve Swan/Dana colloberation

Hi All,

I am considering selling my 2003 Dana Bourgeois/Steve Swan collaboration, OMC fingerstyle Guitar. Steve brought this stash of wood both Brazilian back and sides and Adirondack top. This is one special guitar and is in pristine condition. I would give is a 9.75 out of 10. I can find no dings. The Brazilian is awesome. This guitar plays as nice as it looks. Beautiful Bourgeois. As unusual as it sounds, I feel like I'd gladly add a second Brazilian Bourgeois OM to my stash if I could swing it.

Not Unusual

Not unusual to add a second Bourgeois to the stash! I've got 4 amazing rarities and that's not enough. Good luck with the sale!

Too much of a good thing

I do believe that more of one of a good thing is better.

Thanks guys, it really does sound as good as it looks.

Jeff,

Do you have any pictures that feature the back of the guitar?

Also--and anyone can feel free to chime in here--how does this fingerstyle OM differ from "The Soloist" fingerstyle OM. It seems that all of the Soloists that I have seen have featured European spruce soundboards and, most of them, abalone rosettes. Are there any other differences apart from that?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hey Jonathan;

I have played a couple of his other OM's and I couldn't tell you but Steve Swan had a hand in the build of this guitar. Steve has a guitar shop in the bay area I believe and buys and builds different guitars with AAA woods.

Sorry about the back pictures, new to adding them.

Best I could do with my talent. But the wood is beautiful.

Beautiful guitar!!!
If I recall, the only differences between this guitar and a soloist is the fact that Steve's wood was used which was typical of the guitars he sells and the fact that the bridge pins are aligned straight instead of in a radius...
Love to have it, but I'm way too acoustic guitar rich right now and something would have to go...

still available

Thought I would give a great guitar a Saturday bump.

Will consider equal fingerstyle guitars.

Have a great weekend.

Might consider trades for fingersytle guitars like a Benateau, or something similar.

Just a thought.
