Harmony H1215

Any opinions on this model? Mid-60's??

Just curious...

Like anything else old.... Buy the guitar and not the story/legend.....

These are birch topped guitars.... While they did make expensive arch tops this wasn't one of them...... The 1215 was at the bottom of their line for arch tops...

Solid birch including top.
Dyed fretboard and bridge
Painted lines - not real binding
Non-adjustable steel rod neck reinforcement.
The tuners weren't high quality on these models.

Don't be surprised to find the neck is relatively loose from the effects of storage in an attic of storage unit.

These frequently need neck sets, significant fretwork, and other setup work done to them to get them playable... Inspect carefully and factor all the repairs into the price.

The aftermath of years of Black Diamond strings...
