EQD Afterneath Reverb?
 

Anyone use the Earthquaker Devices Afterneath reverb for acoustic guitar? I've been having a look at some possibilities (Walrus Fathom, Neunaber, Meris Mercury etc) and out of all the demos the Afterneath has been the one which constantly inspires me. Can it go from subtle to full on ambient heaven?

I love a bit of ambient/experimental noise and have always experimented with that kind of thing with acoustic…John Martyn is one of my biggest influences.

I love EQD stuff and am seriously impressed with the Afterneath V3 demos. I don’t own one but would like to add one to my board. I’ve previously owned a Dispatch Master delay, Tone Job EQ/boost and Dunes OD, the latter being the best standard footprint TS style pedal I’ve ever heard. I’d look at the KMA Audio Machines Cirrus too, I’ve yet to audition one but have heard great things.

I use and Afterneath V3 as my main reverb for electric, but I've used it on acoustic too, and it just brings its own special vibe to that. It can be used in ways that are subtle--like a warm or sparkly plate or spring--and of course it can get pretty spacey, too. If you like the sounds it makes, go ahead and use it on acoustic. It's a wonderful pedal.

Thanks guys. I should add that I have some basic reverb on my Prodipe acoustic amp (some basic hall, room and plate type things) so looking for something a little more special for the occasional pieces, but which could be used quite subtly for everything else. Will try and get my hands on one to try in a shop.
