2011 Collings City Limits Jazz, Iced Tea, Broken Glass
http://www.mandolincafe.com/classifi...oad/107788.jpg
“Thin, light, and exquisite… built in limited numbers… one of our most elaborately appointed instruments.” Who am I to argue with Collings? 15" thin-line fully-hollow-body archtop with carved European spruce top; Honduran mahogany back, sides and neck; floating Lollar Johnny Smith pickup and volume & tone thumbwheels under pick guard. This instrument for sale is the one shown on Collings website gallery photos. As-new condition, also Ameritage OEM case. Set-up medium-low and structurally and functionally flawless. Sounds amazing miced acoustically as well as plugged-in: Google Tonedr CL Jazz. $6,750 plus $85 shipping from south Florida to CONUS, includes PayPal. |

Beautiful version of Silent Night - just stunning! You brightened up my day.

I agree Tonedr is a gifted player, but he's not me! I'm merely trying to re-home the same model of instrument he is demoing so beautifully in the vid. I hope its future new owner will regularly make as gorgeous music with it. Also search for Soco/Jostein and Jim Kelly who have vids in which a CLJ sings.

Great deal here!
The CL Jazz may be Bill and the boys' most original and beautiful work.
All solid wood, carved/tuned spruce archtop that rings like a bell. Fanatically great multi ply binding, ebony tailpiece, bridge and pick guard... Then there are the signature broken glass inlays...what are you waiting for? I love mine. http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8c4f5940.jpg |
I agree, 57gold, nearly twins! Tough choice, but I'm cashing out to hit the road with one guitar and one mandolin (and one bass, maybe the keyboard... Arghh).
