Jack Johnson Cover

Long time no play, no sing, no nothing. Went into some furniture store with my wife and heard this very short and simple song. Decided to cover it and this is what I came up with.

Wow. Great job. I forgot it was a Jack song - you made it yours.

Thank you very much lar.

Outstanding!! I love the accentuated bass line and the vocals are excellent. You've got a really good voice, especially for Jack's style of music.

Can I ask a technical question - did you multi-track the vocals in the chorus or are you using some kind of processor? It's a really nice effect.
Thanks

Man, Sage, you can make the simplest song sound amazing. Good for you! That was wonderful!

Thank you mattyc71. I multi tracked and added some chorus and delay. Thanks again.

Thanks very much gentlemen. Life gets in the way and I haven’t done anything musical in a while. There are times that you hear something inspiring and these days, the simpler the better.

Thanks again.

Ernie,
Almost missed this one. I really enjoy your music. Please continue to post and I hope that the urge to record continues to recur. I know the balance between life and music is not always easy. unfortunately, my life/business always trumps music.

Hi Al. Thank you very much for your kind words. I’m glad that someone other than my wife enjoys my music. :)

I actually heard another tune I might try record but I know it will be awhile before I get the itch to enter my music room.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment.

That might just be the finest thing I've heard all week.

Thank you for sharing it.

Kudos on all parts of that gem, but really, your singing puts it over the top. I'd LOVE to be able to sing like that, jeez, even 1/10 like that. Nicely arranged too...

This compliment made me sing non-stop the last few hours. I feel like Sinatra. :) Thank you very much raysachs.
