Are there any 12 string archtop acoustics out there?

I assume there have to be some examples of these, how common are they? Are there any affordable examples in existence? Tell me what you know, AGF.

Martin made a couple on the C-2 body in the early-30's, and Stefan Sobell built this one in 1987:

I don't know of any other purely acoustic 12-string archtops, although Hofner made a few single-cutaway jazzboxes with built-in pickups in the mid/late-60's and several manufacturers (Gibson/Epiphone, Guild, Fender, various Japanese firms) produced thinlines and semi-hollows through the early-70's...

They are uncommon, and expensive.

John Monteleone made a mini archtop 12 string for guitarist Billy McEwan back in the 1980's, and I believe it's owned by the sons of the late Michael Katz.

I can also recall having played one made by Jimmy D'Aquisto that was made for the late Sal DeTroia.

Define affordable.

They're not cheap in any way, shape or form.

The Guild d-212 or d-25-12 were archtop acoustic 12 strings. I have a 1981 D-212
