Man, that thing is just ridiculously classy. Beautiful as ever.
The headstock just jumps out, its awesome! just play it as you would right handed, it may sound weird, but isnt that just where inventive new sounds come from? David |

We went with some pretty wild figured Cocobolo on the tuner head faceplate. It's two book matched pieces; https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8593/2...5de0b9cf_c.jpg The headstock is also quite a bit wider than I normally do |
Yea its not just wild, its awesome!
I did spot the headstock looked quite large, I actually like it, and as the custom headstock i've designed for my own build thats in progress at the moment is also on the wider side, i'm pleased it looks good here, that can only be positive for mine! David |
Here's Another
Here's another one I'm working on. My bacon figured parlor just got the finish on;

Thanks for viewing! Mark |

The Trees Behind My Shop
We made the move from NJ to Peterborough NH a little over 3 years now and I thought I'd show some reasons why we moved. I thought I'd start by showing some of the trees in the forest behind my shop. I hike back in there quite a bit and here are a couple pictures of one of the Red Spruce stands;
https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8507/2...f022ee83_b.jpg Some of them get quite large but, it's easy to see why ADI has so many knots; https://c6.staticflickr.com/6/5204/2...02527cd6_b.jpg As you get a little more altitude the stand becomes almost pure Red Spruce; https://c6.staticflickr.com/6/5015/2...1dfba1e9_c.jpg Here is a little better perspective; https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8061/2...aeb9517d_c.jpg As a guitar builder I find the experience of walking among the spruce very inspirational! Thanks for viewing. Mark |

When you are actually holding and moving it in the light it really comes alive. I was surprised how much this one popped with finish! Mark |
It almost looks like ripples in water. Nice! :)
