Capos on V-shaped necks?

Question: Do capos work on guitars with v shaped necks??

Im currently looking at a nice parlor guitar, i noticed the neck is a v and as i have never had a v neck before i started to wonder if a regular capo would fit on it. If not are there capos specifically designed for v shaped necks?

I use my Showcase Bill Stokes Elliot style capo on my 1893 BayState Parlor with a V neck with no problem at all. This is a yoke style capo, not sure how the other styles work out.

I love the worn V shaped neck. And, being 126 years old, it's kind of surreal feeling the ghosts of players past come out to play.

Shubb SV3 works great.

Yes. I don't change capos based on the neck profile. I find a bigger variance with the fret-board radius.

I have many capos, never had a problem with v-shaped necks.

I have problems using a Shubb capo on my Martin HD-16R Adirondack with a "V" neck. The Planet Waves capo works fine, and so does my Thalia capo.
