Baden Mahogany D -- ONE TIME PRICE REDUCTION - SOLD!

If you are looking at this, you are likely familiar with Baden guitars. TJ Baden was a Taylor rep who left and began building instruments in his own name in the Ayers shop in Vietnam. They were largely hand built with all solid woods and excellent wood selections. Bone components (this one 1 11/16 nut width). Just really great guitars, and given their price point, exceptional.

This one is built with a Sitka spruce top and African mahogany back and sides. Both the guitar and hardshell case are in exceptional condition. I can't find a mark on the instrument. If you are looking for an all solid wood dread at this price point, you will be hard pressed to do better.

Baden d-style mahogany dreadnought

Neck: One-piece, solid African mahogany (Khaya ivorensis)
Body: Solid sapele mahogany
Top: Solid Sitka spruce
Peg head overlay: East Indian rosewood
Fingerboard: East Indian rosewood
Bridge: East Indian rosewood
Keystone rosette: Sapele mahogany / bone bovine
Heel cap: East Indian rosewood
Binding: sapele mahogany
Side purfling: European maple .5 mm

I picked this up recently because I just couldn't pass up the screaming deal on an all solid wood instrument of this caliber when I stumbled upon it at a local shop. Reality is that I just really didn't NEED it (I already have too many!). So, I am passing that deal on here. Someone will be pleased with this one.
