Need to find and Artist to hand paint my McIlroy.

Before you all release nuclear weapons over the internet please bare with me.... I love my McIlroy and no matter what guitar i get, i always end up putting this one in the case. It's my favourite comfortable guitar. She's a stayer. So, despite her knocks and dings I've finally made up my mind to get my beloved Mcilroy spruce top artworked up. This is for very personal individual reasons that mean something to me only. I saw Springteen play a Gibson or Gretch acoustic on the Seeger tour which had handwritten type on the bouts. This is what I want doing - a bit of caligraphy and typography. Nothing ornate just words and type.
...So who or where can I get it done? I've scoured the web and all i get is Yellow Submarine or Flags pictures on Yamahas. Where can I get a guitar artist to do some succinct typography or calligraphy on my precious guitar? I'm UK based.

Um, no thanks. I didn't think this was a clothing optional forum. ;)

Pastorchuck is right - Peter's work is magnificent.

His Anasazi Guitar (a Martin 000-15S) is stunning in its design and artwork, and reflects the art and culture of the ancient Pueblo peoples of the southwest.

I don't know where it is now, but I think it should be hanging in an art museum - or my living room if I ever have the opportunity!

+1 on Peter Cree's incredible work -- and bonus points, as he also seems like a really nice guy, based on some correspondence I had with him a while back.

Dave White has a guitar with some incredible work by mr Cree.
