2019 delivery: Jayson Bowerman custom OM 28

Waiting for my new baby.

Jayson is finishing up my custom OM. What a great guy to work with.

I wanted a classic pre-war OM 28 style guitar.

Back and sides are Brazilian from reclaimed beams. 20 year-old aged Adirondack spruce top.

Can't wait to hold her.

Can't wait to see the pics. He built my beautiful 2009 Breedlove Focus SE. Hope he's doing well now that he's on his own.

I know exactly which guitar you are talking about! One of mine is in the exact same batch and same woods :D not sure if you'd like me to post photos so here are some sneaky photos of yours.

I am not sure if you have ever played a Bowerman before, but I have to say that they are just about the best guitars I've ever played. You're in for a real treat! Please keep us posted on this build!

We have one Bowerman in the family and another in the same batch as yours! Jayson is absolutely remarkable. I truly believe that his guitars will be legendary one day!

I have a few Bowermans - great freakin' instruments ALL. I have one that is due soon as well. I have not seen any photos...it is almost complete!

I think Jayson is an under known master who's life goal is to remain under known. :)

I have loved working with Jayson. Helpful, thoughtful, funny and totally committed to making the best instrument he can.

Several years ago when I became aware of the Breedlove Revival series I wanted to understand how Breedlove-- with their unique headstock and bridges came out with the revival which had neither. Jayson Bowerman. I went on to obtain a few of these style guitars in different woods and they are all excellent.

Also there is a series of old youtube videos of a factory tour at Breedlove by Jayson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l475kzSg08A

Looks like 3 of the 4 builds in this batch are on this thread.

Here is a picture of the Brazilian back I selected.

I decided no pickguard. He included a nice tortoise tear drop one in the case.
