FS: SC OM-42 EIR / Adi

SOLD!

A gas fueled Healdsburg inspired purchase has forced me into a corner - so I am reluctantly putting a couple of guitars up for sale.

This is a 2004 OM-42 - exceptionally nice woods and detailing, as a -42 style guitar deserves. This one also has what was custom at the time, but is now called their adirondack top & bracing w/hhg. It sounds incredible, very crisp and bright, but with good low end. It has been well played and has an assortment of minor dings and such, so collectors stat away. No structural or mechanical issues, and it recently came back from a complete dressing and set-up by the great folks at SCGC. This a great player, with some rather unusual and beautiful SC decoration. Standard OM specs, 1-13/16" nut, 2-3/16" at saddle - see their website or contact me with questions. Gold Waverly tuners as well -

Final price reduction - sold - a really good price for a Santa Cruz rosewood/adirondack hide glue OM even without the style 42 upgrades. pm or email me if you have questions or want other pics - I haven't made much of an effort on this, but it would be nice if it had a new home by Christmas.

Very nice deal on a Santa Cruz OM-42!

Richard Hoover and Co make some great guitars over in Santa Cruz. Nice blend of old school OM charm with some excellent and tasteful upgrades with the 42 style detailing, beautiful headstock & hide glue / adi bracing.

Best of luck on the sale!

What is the spacing at the saddle?

rumble 11-14-2013 10:20 AM

2 3/16th + is what I read when measured

tadol 11-14-2013 07:12 PM

Pulled out the Mitutoyo digital caliper - neck width just below nut is 1.778" (45.16mm) and the outside strings at saddle is 2.2335 in. (56.73mm). Neck at body join (14th fret) is 2.21" (56.13mm).

Now that I've found it and thrown a new coin cell in, I can supply any dimensions requested -
