Default "Beatlenut" UPDATE--Please read

Dear friends---

The following folks have agreed to be "contacts." They, along with me, will give you pertinent information if you are interested in making a private donation to Keith, and his daughters and wife. Please contact them via PM (except for "dthumb" who prefers Email):

"Chicago Sandy"
"DVguy"
"dthumb" ( [email protected] )
"Preston"
"Folkstrum"
"Steve S."
"gteague"
"Parley Dee" (via email)
"Jedd"
BTW, any gratuitous "bumps" will be appreciated! Again, we don't care what you're "persuasion" is...it's an "equal opportunity" opportunity for ANY AGF members. Again, thanks! I don't think I'm violating any confidences by mentioning that this is completely UNSOLICITED by Keith, nor his wife Lynn. This is MY idea. Period. Keith is humbly grateful...but a bit overwhelmed, as he is NOT asking for this. I am. So, that's the facts, Jack.

(Oh...in an "emergency" no-one is replying, I know Cotten is a "mod" and is "officially not on the list," BUT...the guy has info, y'know? I think if you dropped him a last-ditch PM, he'd provide the same info, ok? ---now, John...you be nice! )

My wife did massages at the So Cal AGF gathering today as a fund raiser with all donations going to Keith and his family. Steve had left before we finished but we will contact him to get all the info as where to send the money.

Keith, our prayers continue for you and your family.

Dennis & Shoko

Nice, Dennis...kudos and thanks to your wife as well! I know Steve S. will be "comfortable" with the arrangements to keep Keith, Lynn and their daughters "safe" from any trolls or weirdos! Meanwhile, I hope folks here will take advantage of ANY of the list of "contacts" who graciously volunteered to pass along the information. This is a diverse, but caring group of "AGF-ers". I'm delighted to be associated with them all.

Meanwhile, keep those PM's (or emails) flowing.

Isn't that supposed to be my line, Norm?

This is in no way an official AGF project, friends, just a group of friends privately doing something nice for a hurting friend and his family. What a community!

That is correct. And I gotta say Dennis's pic above with the "AGF" sign in the "pot o' gold" is the picture worth 1,000 words when it comes to the Forum. Excellent! (now, where can I sign up for one of those massages???)

Thanks! (but a bit long of a hike for me---does she do "home visits?") Maybe this is the sound of one hand clapping, but let's not forget about this need...and again my thanks to the names who appear on "Folkstrum's List!" Some very diverse, and yet kind souls have stepped up to the plate! Check out the names...they represent a wide cross-section of us. Please help if you can. Thanks again!

See, even "Presbyterian" pastors can make misthakes! ] of "Soundseat" fame and I had a nice chat. And there's that "AGF Massage Money!" so we'll just keep plugging away as best we can. I certainly hope that ALL those folks who posted on Keith's threads have contacted ONE of us to...um...follow through from "good thoughts" and prayers, mojo, whatever to the tangible for Keiths daughters' Education fund.
(DOH!---Lucky I didn't say "J.R. Ewing" from "Dallas"--thanks Cotten. Next time I'll screw my head on tighter )

I just had fun editing Folkstrum's post #10 above, then realized that just doing that wouldn't bump this back to the top. This will, though!

I know Keith owns a LOT of guitars, a LOT of which he was offering for sale, among them Fenders, so I'm not surprised he also shared this plight on the Fender Forum, and they reacted similarly. Good to have some help out there....
