2 cents
Don't have a lot of experience with the GC's ( and none with the new style boxes) but I'm partial to the grand auditoriums. Just more comfortable for me with my style and if you pick the right wood you really don't miss having a dread. ( but I'm not a bluegrass picker and I'm sure most of them would disagree)
Spruce and maple first, then spruce with rosewood or Ovangkol. (Still would'nt give up my Cocobolo 810, though)  ________________________________ Taylors - 614CE & 810CE L7
