What does SGM mean? Would this one have a truss rod?

Is it safe to assume that if these have a truss rod cover, that they have a truss rod? I've heard that some Rainsongs don't have a truss rod. |

My Shorty is SGM and has a truss rod, I believe all the Shorty’s do

Yep. The Shortys have the NS neck - with a truss rod.
