What does SGM mean? Would this one have a truss rod?

Thanks Bry & Ted.

Is it safe to assume that if these have a truss rod cover, that they have a truss rod? I've heard that some Rainsongs don't have a truss rod.

All Rainsong guitars made now have a truss rod. They all have the N2 neck which became the standard a while back.

haha, I was soooooooooooooooo close to buying this one last week, but found a black one (which I prefer) for less money on reverb.

My Shorty is SGM and has a truss rod, I believe all the Shorty’s do

Yep. The Shortys have the NS neck - with a truss rod.
