Default Found a great guitar Luther in NE Ohio

I have had four of more guitars recently setup by Garyn Jones who has a small shop located in the WoodShed music school located in downtown Oberlin, Oh.
Oberlin is a small town about 30 miles south east of Cleveland, Oh.
Garyn received his training at Bryan Gulloups guitar building and repair school in Big Rapids , Mi.
Garyn is a very good guitar player in his own right but has done a perfect job setting up and repair my guitars.
He prices are competitive and always keeps me updated with any issues.
Give him a try when you need a repair or set up.

Kenbike, thanks for the information and recommendation. Very good to know.

FYI, and for others in northeast Ohio, I have had wonderful work done by Ken Lesko of Rainbow Guitar Repair and Jay Hinrichs at Hubbard Music.

He built a maple 6 string acoustic and 6 string electric when attending the program.
Both are wonderful to play and fabulous fit and finish. He does not plan on custom building at thrift time.
He he does start taking orders I am going with a Koa/ spruce concert size.

Very rare to see a customer speak highly of a business and as a person that relies on local word of mouth of mouth myself, I commend you for recommending him and I am sure he would appreciate the kind words.

Default another northeast Ohio luthier

I also would highly recommend Jake Tuel at Burning River Guitars in Cuyahoga Falls. He is a Martin authorized repairman as well. His website is http://www.burningriverguitars.com/contact/. He does excellent work.
