I already have one (in HOF finish) but these are so great. This is tempting.

SPECTACULAR condition for a '59! My '66 should look so good...

And a steal at that price! Good luck with the sale!

Tempting isn't the word for it. I just bought a new Froggy Bottom and am guitar rich but cash poor. I want this guitar though. My GAS is killing me.

great looking guitar and great shape for a 59!

i didn't know tv jones made pickups in 59. guess you learn something every day.

wait a minute, tv jones indicates they've only been in business since 93, so those cannot be original on a 59.

The ad says "recent" so it appears to be a Gretsch reissue of the guitar, not an original 1959. Still, seems to be a heck of a guitar for a great price!

corrected. thank you.
the op probably should give more detail such as the year made, and that it is a reissue, or a couple of us should pay attention to the provided information. i took it to be a recent purchase.
still, a beautiful guitar!!

Sorry guys, I said recent but it would have been clearer if I said "reissue" which it is of course. I can check the serial number and provide the year built, but it is likely a 2014 or 2015, I don't recall.

Sorry for any confusion!

Great reissue, made in Japan!

I'm glad we cleared that up. I've been looking for a replacement for my long gone '62 Chet Tennessean and thought this might be it. I'll keep looking for that.

Nice guitar though.

I definitely want to buy your guitar, 100% sure...Can you ship it to me. I will cover the shipping cost and of course pay you in American dollars. I don't know exactly how to do this...any pointers will be appreciated regarding safest shipping method, payment method etc.

I can drive to New York state (Ogdensberg or Massena), or a couple of hours further south. How does that sound? Or there must be a way that you could ship it directly with me paying the cost including border fees & taxes. I have no American friends or relatives aside from one in California.
