Default Goodman Guitars

I really enjoy this forum. I posted some of my stuff a while ago and have been meaning to get back on and when I looked at the last time I posted it was almost 4 years ago! Well, a lot has happened since then.

I basically build 3 types of instruments:
build
traditional style X braced
Ladder braced "old school"
archtops

Here is one of the guitars I have built:

Macassar ebony and bear claw Sitka.....

Here's a ladder-braced Stella-style "Gambler" model.

26-1/2" scale tuned down to C or B

Black lacquer and mother of toilet seat (celluloid nitrate).....

Nice to see you back on the forum Brad. One of my guitars was built with Cuban Mahogany that the luthier got from you. I think in the past you posted a small body guitar you built from the same stuff. You've built some really nice instruments.

Everything about that guitar is awesome. The finish, the cool fretboard inlays, the headstock veneer, the pick guard. I bet it sounds super cool, too.

Hello, Brad and welcome! Thanks for those pics - really beautiful work. I also like the "gambler" and the pearl Tuxedo motif with clever inlays. Gorgeous flamed maple tailpiece on that archtop and that little o - size looks like a lot of fun too. Looking forward to seeing more of your work here. Thanks again for your support.
