This was definitely fun putting together.

I carry two cases. One with the guitar and supplies, and the other with three bottles of that there Jack Daniels string cleaner!

when i used to gig a lot you could never tell what you might be eating or when or where, or if the facilities at the club would be usable or not. while i don't gig much anymore, i still keep a small package of these handy. and while most folks would not consider these to be an essential musicians accessory, i can tell you they're awfully handy to have around and have a variety of uses beyond the obvious. :-)

Since I play weekly (some say weakly) in church, I leave out the bottle of spirits...
But each case I take to church as a pack of strings, a winder, cutter, strap, and some sort of humidity device.

I keep two tuner apps on my phone.
And perhaps a protein bar in my pocket...

5. Fast Fret
6. a small "baggie" of assorted picks

Two packs of strings,
a string cutter,
string winder,
assorted picks I never use,
tuner,
Browning .25 automatic,
Kitchen sponge in a baggie,
Micro fiber cloth,
The first Dollar I ever earned playing,
Sound hole pickup (only to be used in the direst of circumstances)

I usually have a cheat sheet of bar chords and a few bits of sheet music in there. The Browning is trade bait because I'm still looking for a mandolin.
