Default Anyone up for seeing another carved guitar?

So here is the next one strung up. Some specs for this one...

Norway Spruce top, Ziricote back/sides, Cocobolo bindings and bridge, ebony fingerboard and headstock plate, and holly for all the carvings. It is my 00 size again, the same as the last carved guitar. I'm really happy to be finished with this one. I started it a year and a half ago, and then it went on hold with remodeling the old farmhouse we bought, and starting a new job. That coupled with running around with kids sports and extra curricular activities doesn't leave much time for building guitars. I'm pleased with the sound of this one. It favors the mids and trebles slightly, but that doesn't surprise me with the small body size and an armrest bevel. This is my first black top with a high gloss, and wow, I didn't realize how difficult it was to buff these out Hope you enjoy. Sorry no build pictures for this one. I hope to document the next one.

Nice work Andrew, I particularly like the look of the headstock. I am not sure if you have ever bumped into Chris Paulick on any forums or seen some of his Utube tutorials but he has been doing some headstock carving which are reliefs influenced by Paul Uhlemann, also quite inspiring.

I like my arm bevel so the edge doesn't dig into my arm. Do the carvings leave an impression in your skin? It's beautifully detailed, but I am curious if the bevel retains the comfort level.

Beautiful work. I love work working, and guitars. You have a gift, and a very special talent. That is an incredable guitar. Bravo Zulu on your creation.

Thanks guys. Mike, the armrest seems very comfortable to me. The edges are eased and the carvings are all relief, so they don't protude to inhibit comfort. I don't notice the carvings at all when I'm playing it.
Jim, I've seen some of Chris' videos, but have not seen any of his carvings or those of Paul Uhlemann. I tried looking them up last night but wasn't able to find any pics of their work.
