FS Guild D-4-12 and/or Larrivee D-03R-12

With the recent acquisition of a Guild F-212 it has come to my attention that I may (possibly, just maybe you understand) need to clear out some space for the new arrival. Pick a 12-string. I will probably keep whichever one does not sell first.

First up a a Guild D-4-12. I bought this new in 1998 from Bizarre Guitar in Phoenix. I like to think of this guitar as a classic example of a "Pre-Fender Buyout Guild" but the truth is it was actually built a few months after the buyout. Serial number dates it as having been built in 1996, and the buyout was in November of 1995. This one was built before Fender started "improving" things.

Satin finish.
"Canadian" Hard Case - (i.e. standard LKM case)

I can remove the John Pearse Arm Rest if desired.
Guitar is very clean, with two very small dents in the soundboard, I've tried to take good photos.
Non-Smoking household, guitar has always been properly humidified.


$800 Plus shipping, based on completed E-bay listings this is a reasonable and fair price.

2nd up is a 1998 Larrivee D-03-R-12. Purchased new in Phoenix from Music-go-round back when they were still in business. Nice example of an older -03 series instrument with the BWB purfling and clear pick guard. Professionally repaired top crack. Crack was repaired in 1999 or 2000 and is stable. I had to work very hard to get a picture. Very light scratch in the finish on the back.

Normally I would price this at $1000-1100, but I'm dropping it to $800 plus shipping due to the top repair.

Also I will be driving up to Sacramento for the 4th of July, so if someone up there was a firm buyer and wanted to save on shipping I'd be willing to bring one or both with me.

Not really interested in trades (trying to make room) but would do so for the right instrument, +/- a little cash as appropriate. I tend to like North American built guitars. Other then my D-35 I'm done with Dreadnaughts, so would only be interested in L, OM/000, 00, 0, or Jumbo size instruments. A smaller bodied rosewood 12 would be interesting but probably counterproductive.
