Default Identifying the year of a Martin D-18?

Hello, I'm really into this band called the Fleet Foxes and the lead singer plays a Martin D-18. I'm guessing it is an older one, but can anyone tell me exactly what year/era it is from?

Here are some pics..

About the only thing I can see is the black pickguard, which came in sometime around 1968. The logo is the older dark gold, not the newer bright gold one. So that places it between the very late 60s and around 1999. (These dates are estimates; I'm not so expert that I know exactly when the changes were made.)
