Default Petros Tunnel 13 12 Fret Review

Hi happy people!

I got my Petros Tunnel 13 12 Fret (Walnut back and sides) 2 weeks ago. Amazing. I can understand why some are so impressed by Redwood/Walnut Petros small bodied guitars. The addition of Tunnel 13 redwood plus a 12 Fret bridge placement makes this instrument truly exceptional. This guitar sounds mellow, strong, clear and loud all at the same time. One can tell that the tone is from a softer wood such as mahogany but the sustain, volume and clarity will make one think that it is a light rosewood as well. A detailed review in the link below:

Outstanding!

Tell me though, is the book "The Pathalogic Basis of Disease" a GAS self-help manual?!!

I love it mate, can't wait to get to meet it!

Hahaha, Good Morning! Nothing in that book says anything about curing GAS!
There might not be a cure . . .

Thanks guys. This guitar is really super! I would have been perfectly content to have only either one of my Petros guitars as both of them handle all kinds of music really well! Fingerstyle or strumming sounds great on both (In the case of the FS, I think it's because of the T13 redwood top).

I like to think that I didn't really have GAS to begin with, I was only trying to find a really good guitar for myself. I bought the second Petros (this one) mostly because I couldn't resist owning such a beautiful looking instrument with such nice history and high quality wood that is illegal to cut down. I initially wanted another GC (because my first Petros is a GC and I love it so much) but Bruce Petros advised me to go for the small bodied instrument to have some variety. He made a good call! I have never liked small bodied guitars, and especially when they are not in my favourite tonewood combo of spruce and rosewood (or rosewood like), but I have completely fallen in love with this one. Some of the things I like in Spruce/Rosewood, none of the things I dislike about mahogany sounding guitars.

Thank you. Just to be clear, I have 2 Petros guitars.

I just keep them in different tunings; which one I play depends on what tuning the song is played in. Right now, I'm learning a few classical pieces on the T13 FS.
