I really like the peghead.
And speaking of pegs, in that shot with the tools spread out, there's a sweet looking tuner off to the side. What is that little gem?

Walrus: Thank you so much for sharing the on going process with all of the really nice pictures!!! It is such fun to watch a master make a work of art take shape like this!!!!! I can't wait to see how the Brazilian "POPS" under finish...it should be breathtaking!

Good eye Steve! It's one of the Graf tuners (with snakewood buttons) that'll go on this schweet thang

Me too! When I saw examples of Bruce's take on the slothead design, I knew I had to have it. It'll be my first...hopefully I'll catch on quick about restringing lol.

It is awesome how everyone is always so complimentary of others work in this forum.

So many luthiers...so many choices....I should commission 10 at once and have a guitar build off like they do with motorcycles

Oil varnish?
Does the sweetness never end?
Nothing looks like a varnish finish...well, other than varnish.
It's a lot of work, but the end result is beautiful.
