Default considering a gypsy guitar and Jimmy Rosenberg

I love listening to gypsy jazz and watching those guys play. I recently got hooked on Jimmy Rosenberg youtube videos and want to purchase a gypsy guitar. I can't decide between the Gitane short scale or long scale version. Any thoughts?

I have a Gypsy guitar made by Peter Zwinakis, 13 fretter with short scale. I don't play Gypsy type music, but got it because it had a very close sound to the old Stella ladder braced/floating bridge guitars from the 20's which are hard to find. I play all songs on it, but mostly blues.....which is PERFECT for this guitar.....
