Has the 13th Fret Forum (www.13thfret.com) gone off-line or is it just my ISP?

It will be a pity if it stays gone, as it has been for a couple of days now. It has had a very nice resurgence of participation the last few months, and is the most comfortable and family-like forum I've tried. Without noticeable moderation, it has had to rise to a high level of civility. Quite remarkable, actually.

Tried to get in this morning...got a "This Domain has Expired " message... I certainly hope they renew.

the website is now owned by the folks who run the Newport Guitar Show (they purchased that also from Julius Borges).

The 13th Fret was my introduction to online forums something like 6 or 7 or even more years ago. It was a very very different place then -- it WAS really a community feel.

I miss old Wart Snagley the most..... ; )

I checked a little farther into that, and the domain was still listed with Dave Skowron as the admin.

Looks like someone failed to do their due diligence.

That means the domain name was not renewed (either intentionally or otherwise). Hopefully they get it taken care of.
