Default 1976 Martin 000-28 for sale

1976 Martin 000-28 for sale

I am selling a 1976 Martin 000-28. I AM the original owner. Purchased it on 11/15/76. It's in great condition, & sounds fabulous. It has one repaired crack on the bottom, where you would plug in a cable. That was repaired @ a Martin authorized center. One finish crack that's been there for 25 yrs, from the sound hole @ the b string, to the bridge. Our luthier, who installed a new bone saddle & nut, said that it was totally cosmetic. I also had a tortoise shell pick guard installed, when the frets were replaced, around 4 years ago. There are no electronics.
Original case included.
One can only have so many instruments, when times are tough.
Asking $2000 obo... U.S. only, please.

000-28 style 14 fret
Top: solid sitka spruce
Back & sides: East Indian Rosewood
Fretboard: solid black ebony
Scale length: 24.9"
Nut width: 1 11/16"

I've played that guitar several times (we both live in same town) - IMO, it is better than described. Great sound, good action, and it appears to be in near mint condition. I would buy it myself if I were in a position to...

Default the crack...

I wrote the post after a long day. I apologize for not being specific. The repaired crack is on the lower bout, approximately 7” from the end pin. Hope that is more accurate.

Not the guitar... (I didn't want anyone to think that!)

It is a beauty and truly my favorite size Martin!

lol.... no problem. I would hate to see anyone get Spam on that guitar! It is one of those guitars that will likely cause a few sleepless nights for GASers like me!

Thanks for the offer. That's a great guitar too! However, I need to sell this one for cash instead of a trade. I would think about it if situations were different...

It's a standard 000-28, except for the pick guard, NOT the eric clapton model. Just as good sounding, but it's a REGULAR 000-28
