Default Spoonful (Rev. Gary Davis)

Hi guys,

here's my latest recording. Rev. Gary Davis' Spoonful on a Gibson J-45. From an arrangement by Ernie Hawkins.

I hope you like it.

That was good Doug!

How close are Ernie's tabs to what he plays in the lessons?

As a side note, at the GC near my house they have a Gibson SJ-200 for $5,200. I hate the saddle, but they sound so good, lol.

Thank you Barry! The tabs are pretty good but not perfect.

Thanks to you I'm getting to know all kinds of new music, haha. Again a nice one

What is your practise routine if I may ask? I only practise pieces for example. I hear lot's of people talking about practising scales 'n all that stuff..

Thanks Rick! I practice about 15 - 20 hours a week solely focused on repertoire. I never practice scales etc.
