+1 on the SCGC parabolic low tension strings. They are on my Shorty now and sound really nice.

Methos1979 is kind enough to post photos for me. I apologize for my reflection in the photo of the front. The guitar is so glossy it's difficult to get a photo without some sort of reflection.

My wife walked by and heard me playing yesterday and commented on how good the guitar sounds. For comparison, my other guitar is a Taylor 324. Very different, obviously, but the balance and sustain of the Rainsong is very pleasing.

I'm also sold now on 12 fret guitars. Eventually, the 324 may be sold or traded for a 12 fret version...

Floors are a laminate but it will be interesting to see what new materials will come next....

Careful - that is a slippery slope. I have three really nice Taylor's that are going up for sale soon. With a nice herd of carbon fiber guitars to choose from, they get little play time any more.
