Default Koa Top vs. Spruce Top...

I've been able to play several Koa Taylors but all have had Spruce tops. What does a Koa top add to the sound of the K12 and K22? Thanks

From the ones here, I would say crisper, a little tighter.
I like all our koas, but my favorite is the GA-KS. Koa with a sitka spruce top.

I have a Koa 65CE. The koa top creates a very lush, soft sound; it has a little bit less mid-range tone than the sitka spruce. I love the sound.

I played a K-14ce Koa top tonight for the first time and it sounded great. Not at all what I expected, very focused and more sparkle than I anticipated. Less bass than I would have imagined as well. Yes...crisper and tighter describes it well.
