I Beam active on Taylor 810
Installed the pick up yesterday.
Took about 45 minutes. Recorded a couple tracks directly through my sound card. Trying to play DMB songs: http://www.funender.com/music/bands/1372/music.php Edit: I'm not claiming myself as a musician but so far this is only way I can post sound clip samples.

P.S> My 810 told me to say hello to your 810...

It seems like it reached the maximum bandwidth limit.
My 810 says hi back. Edit: correction.. tripod doesn't allow anybody to download the files. So, I hosted them somewhere else.

I installed an IBeam Active in my 810 last night !!
Haven't had it turned up through the PA in a large room. Tested it through my studio monitors and it sounded woody and warm ! I like it so far. I understand you can do a lot of tweaking with pick up placement. I think I got the pacement mostly right for my guitar.. . . If anything mine installation might be a tad heavy to the bass side, but not really 'woofy' . . . I have a gig this weekend and we'll see how it works out for that. So far so good, and the price was very reasonable. Wish I had done this long ago. .. . Regards, DeadHead |

doesn't the ibeam sound abit airy? i dunno... i choose the element over the ibeam.. wonder if i made the right choice... nice playing anyway... i guess the ibeam is good for your style of play... i play in a band..
