14-59 on a 22.5 scale guitar at E standard

Would I ruin the guitar with those heavy gauges. It's a luna. The tension would be about equal to 12's on a 25 in standard.

I just went to Luna's site and they make a bazillion different guitars. Tell me which model you're talking about and I'll see what I can find out for you.

It's a 3/4 size.

g344, that gauge should be okay on a short scale instrument. I'd suggest that you put a set on there and just watch what the guitar does in the first few hours and days after you tune it up to tension.
