Thanks Mike, yeah the colors on this one are subtle, but really work well IMO.

Thank you Steve, that means a lot to me coming from someone of your stature. You know how much I like wood and this one is really doing it for me, maybe more subtle so actually beautiful in it's simplicity is a way to say it.

You are very astute to have picked that up Tim, but with your experience, I am not surprised. My only problem is, I am not sure how Ben picked the guy to inlay...I thought maybe he would go with someone slightly better looking without the need for glasses, but hey, I am not the designer here so I will go with what he thinks is best!

Thanks for checking her out!

Beautiful! Look forward to hearing more when you get your hands and ears on it.

Best,

We went with Snakewood tuner buttons, pins, and tail pin.

The Sitka looks incredible. I'm also really loving the coco radial rosette!
I think the snakewood elements really complement the overall aesthetic well. Looking forward to sound clips once it's strung up!

Well, Ben is treating you right: that's a remarkable set of H. Rosewood. It's getting more and more difficult to find that timber. I could wish for a few sets in reserve like yours. Enjoy!

Thanks again, Ben said he had that set for about 10 years and thought it had some of the nicest tap tones as any wood he had, sooooo I hope that along with the 40 year old Sitka means a winner!!!

If I was ordering a Wilborn that’s exactly what I would want...

OM size, quartered rosewood, the old spruce, cutaway, simple appointments, let the wood speak for itself....nice.

Thank you, I can highly recommend Ben if you decide to go for it!!! A nice little Nevada-made guitar heading over seas to Scotland would be a fun treat!

Initial reports on the sound seem pretty good from Ben. I should have a video to post pretty soon! Lots of sustain, nice bottom end, really good mid-range with sparkling trebles, not sure what else a customer could ask for at this point.

Well I am very pleased to introduce to you the Cinnamon Girl, the newest Ben Wilborn finished guitar:

I want to thank Ben for this beautiful looking and sounding guitar. Ben has been great to work with and has his builds down to a science. If this guitar has a sound you like, I am sure he can come close to one for you, just slightly not as good as this one, just a little less pretty and a little less clear, just sayin!!! Throw on some headphones and ENJOY!
