OOh, there's loads...

I noticed that Emil Ernebro has a new channel on Youtube with an Introductory lesson - he is a killer player, and most stuff he plays is for advanced, but maybe the beginner lessons would suit?

I am working on his Folsom Prison Lessons just now, and they're very good.

For folk-blues style (the origins that pre-date Merle Travis), Stefan Grossman is a good authority.

Good suggestions here. Also, I decided to go all in for a Travis course on Truefire ... I think it was like $20 for 90m in over 30 video lessons, all tabbed out. It was a great way to start with basics and grow into it.

Toby Walker’s courses and Homespun courses cover the topic in abundance. Honestly, if you can develop an independent thumb, then play melody on and off the beat, you can Travis pick. That being said, I’ve been working toward that goal for at least four years!

If you have an iPad, check out this app: ‘Blues and Rags’ by LP Productions Ltd. It’s all repetitive fingerstyle patterns. Also, Happy Traum’s ‘Conquer the Challenge Of the Steady Thumb’ is a good tool too.

Best,
Rick

Not on the web, but Mark Hanson has a couple of instructional books on Travis picking. If you can get through large portions of both books you'll be way ahead of where you are now.
