Default 220V to 110V converting

Just got an amp that is made in Europe and it came with the 220v plug. Can i use a simple converter to make it compatible with our 110V??

Your link is to a 50w converter. Without knowing the power requirements of your amp I can't say for sure but odds are very good 50w is insufficient. Depending on the amp you could easily be looking at 200 or 300w plus.

Never mind any converter...what's the amp?

Many musical instrument devices have dual voltage capability built in, but it may be somewhat buried for safetys sake.

Look on Amazon or wherever for a product such as the Seven Star TC200.

That will do the voltage convert either way and is 100W rated, which should cover that amp, which is rated at 22oV, 1A. (say 200W max)
