Thank you for reading this

Edit: I ended up ordering the brown sunburst one. If anyone has this guitar (The Yamaha Fgx730sc brown sunburst) I would love to hear your opinions on how it looks

I voted the natural. Whilst I love sunburst finishes on electric guitars, I am not drawn to them on acoustics.

Purely my own subjective preference - other people LOVE them which is great!

I think he's right, sunburst is much more popular on electrics than acoustics. That being said, I would go the sunburst just to be different. Everybody has a natural finish guitar, why not stand out. Just my two cents.

on that guitar natural. Nothing beats a gibson vintage sunburst. Martin, yamaha, godin etc just look like they are trying to capture the beauty of a j-45. Funny thing is gibson wasn't necessarily trying to make such a beautiful guitar they were just trying to hide the flaws.

Based strictly on those photos, the sunburst looks better. On the natural guitar, the seam is clearly visible because the shading is different on each piece. I don't like that. No, sir.

In this case the natural seems to fit the guitar the best.

It really depends on the guitar model ,the manufacturer, the top wood used, and the price point of the instrument.
With your two choices ,I would choose the Sunburst.

I voted natural but the scratch guard ruins the look of both of them for me. But then I'm not a strummer

Without looking, I was ready to vote for "sunburst." I love sunbursts -- and nobody does sunburst like Gibson.

However, it's a good thing that I looked before voting - that reddish/purple hue around the outer bout simply doesn't cut it.

I voted "Natural"

I am not a big fan of sunburst or painted guitars. I love to see the natural wood ! That of course is my personal preference!

I've been here long enough that I can confidently speak for many of my AGF friends: one must have one (at least) of each.
