Default 2007 Taylor GS5 sunburst. Which top?

Did a 2007 Taylor GS5 sunburst come with a cedar top or a spruce top? Or are both available that year?

GS 5 is renamed to 512e Thats what Taylor told me today, because I called about me GS 5. I bought a custom one and did not know it was not a standard model. It sure is nice looking.

I do believe a GS5 is now a 516... not a 512.

Your are correct, sir! However, the GS5 had a cedar top, where now the 516 can have spruce or cedar - and maybe even hog.

All I know is that the one I pick up and brought home is very clear sounding and louder then any I have. also the sound is very sharp, like piano clarity. It could be Taylor said 516e, I was just exsided I had a custom. The lost dream in a guitar one man sell and another buys may live on in the hopes of better playing for me.

I am just happy to have it.
