I've been gassing for one of these for a while.. But I'm very concern about it being a 2 month wow factor followed by a $300 dust collector.

Wondering if there are any amateurs out there still using it after having it for a few months?

He felt the 214 plus all the TWA chorus, reverbs, & effects, already exceed the sound quality of an 814. Hence he was convinced that he doesn't need an 814 after all.

Has that happened to anybody?

Just a note that the TWA does not have a chorus effect. They're working on it, but it's not there yet.

Default Tonewoodamps are great

I have one, and use it primarily with my Taylor GS Mini. Yes the round back is to most a killer, but i did a little mcguyvering, if anyone is interested I'll elaborate. Suffice to say it sounds marvelous. I have used it on my Takamine Nex body styles, and it sounds great, i tried it on my jumbos and the sound seemed to bounce around to much. Bideal for dreds and similar size I would assume. overall it's an incredible piec of kit. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Finally opened up the Tonewood amp that I gave my son for Christmas.

One thing I discovered which I didn't notice mentioned in the installation video: If your guitar has too much dust inside the x-brace magnet won't stick!

I'll have to dust my guitar out and use the spare set of adhesive discs.

Pretty neat sound, though!
