Big Business always has a stake behind articles such as the OP's Time Magazine article and telling us what is fashionable and what no longer is. Procter & Gamble reports sales of disposable razors and shaving products are way down at year end. It's always in their best interest to tell us what we should be doing & wearing.

Same here. My daughters were 3 & 6, and they were afraid of me when I walked in clean shaven! My wife told me..."Never do that again..." clean shaven ever since, but I'd sure like to let the ol' beard return! The 3 day stubble look is not an option.
