Small Room Dehumidifier Question
I bought a small room dehumidifier from Amazon for $40 and it's drawing water out of the air but never gets the humidity below 60%. Does that mean I need a better one? The room is about 7X7

Are you windows or door wide open?
Every dehumidifier has it's recommended room size to be effective. My room is also about 8x8 feet and my windows and door (except for going in and out of the room) are perpetually closed. I'm using an EuropAce that cost about $500. My room's humidity is pegged at 55-60 RH. |

I don’t have much to go on but I think your dehumidifier is inadequate. Is it a conventional design with a compressor and condenser? Last edited by Herb Hunter; 02-26-2018 at 01:55 PM. |

Has anyone found a small room humidifier for around $50 that actually works?
Mine can't seem to get it down below 60.
