I've never seen nor played one but they are beautiful in the photos on the web site. Nice understated elegance. Looking at examples of the wood in the photos, I can only imagin what sweet sounds emanate from his guitars.

I own a redwood over rosewood SJ model. He calls it a Jubilee. It is very well made and has a delightfully deep tone, but not in the way of a D-35 or a 710. It is more mello. It is on the heavy side which adds to the tone I believe. It is my favorite pick when I just want to sit and play for myself. I think I'm going to add a sound port because the body depth sends too much of the joyful noise away from me. I have not had good luck with a pickup yet. I started with a BBand UST and went to a BBand AST. Still too much bass presence.
