If one had to go which would you keep?
I just bought a J15 and so far it is great. Of course to fund one that means one has to go....at least with this single income family. Just out of curiosity of the two Rainsong guitars in my signature which would you keep?

I'd say keep the one you like best.
If you like them equally well, then keep the one that sounds most different from the new guitar you got. Or, if you do performing outdoors, I'd say keep the one that will work best for that (since a carbon fiber guitar would be perfect for taking outdoors), in which case maybe keep the one that sounds most like the new guitar, if you like that one a lot and want a more rugged substitute for it to play in bad weather.

I had a CO-ws1000 and a Shorty.... kept the Shorty. I like the 12 fret comfort.

I don't have any, but I have played all at some point. I would keep the shorty because it complements the J15 better.

I would try and find a way of keeping them both! Sell some blood plasma, maybe?
Failing that, I would keep the Shorty simply because I love mine and like the shorter scale and 12 fret tone.

It is going to be a hard decision. The longer I keep them the harder it will be to part with either. Which doesn't help the financial situation.....especially with Christmas right around the corner.

Look at it another way which is more sellable? So much talk here on the shorty may be your best bet.

Sounds like Doubleneck is looking to buy a Shorty.

I would be glad to help fund Christmas by taking the shorty off your hands.

They are pretty hot, so you should be able to get nearly full value for whichever one you decide to let go.

I am just looking to recoup what I spent for the J15....that's about three hundred or so off so hopefully the Christmas fund won't be hit too hard...

Even though I like my Shorty I will go against the majority.....I prefer the OM due to 14 fret.

If it was the only one, I agree. Since he has the J15, the shorty gives more options in the guitar spectrum.
