I just searched in Daily deals section and the $79.99 didn't show and your link took me to the standard $129 price.

So I went to the Deal of the Day part of Amazon and there had been another sale at the price of $69.99, but it said the deal had closed. Guessing it's open only for half a day or a few hours, at best at that price.

You are now talking about a decent amp for the price of some little headstock guitar tuners.

If someone has interest in this amp, they should just schedule themselves to check that section of the Daily deals, filtered by "Musical Instruments" a couple times a day. Within a week, or maybe a month at worst, I think this will come on sale again. Seems to be following some sort of pattern. It appears that you can also tag it to notify you when the sale comes.

Happy with $85. But $70 is even better.

I saw it and wanted to jump on it but I just don't have a use for it. I like the idea and it looks fun but I don't need to collect more "stuff."

Same here....

But this is a sweet deal on a feature packed little amp.. Keeps popping up on the site. Sure it will be back again for those who missed.

I resisted the $79 price because I bought the Korg MM130 when I bought the Mugig last month....So I'm set on Battery Acoustic amps... but at $69 I might of bought it for a back up...
Well and the memory of the Stink-Eye I got from my Wife, last month kept me from buying it...

i tried one but it doesn't work so well for me because i play 7 string with low string down to g below guitar e.
it seems to be a good value for basic not too loud use for some.

Yea the volume doesn't kick in until your at 3/4 volume on both the channel volume and master volume and then it gets loud...Enough with a drummer, I doubt it..but who would take a battery powered amp into a Band situation , this is more for busking..or just hanging out with other acoustic players who want a little more volume..
Probably coffee shops and other quieter gigs..
But it can get louder then you'd expect...

Pissed I missed this deal! How do you set your 'watch' on Amazon so you get notice of a deal?

That doesn't help much - last deal came after I had checked this place in the early morning!

You can subscribe to the Daily Deals and they are sent to your email daily. I did but cancelled immediately as I couldn't figure out how to only get the "musical instruments" selections where the Mugig is at.

Maybe someone else knows if that can selectively be done.

If you look just at the musical instrument section and start on page 6 and go backwards, you will see all the upcoming deals. When they are upcoming, you can click and it will send you a notice when it comes up for sale--to your email--phone--facebook, etc.

$99.99 for the next 4 hours (8:30am EST). Not sure we'll ever see the $79 again, so I went ahead and ordered one.
