SOLD! - Vaschenko S-Style - For Sale / Trade for Taylor 12 Fret Short Scale
Here is an S-style guitar built by Valery Vaschenko – see some of his work here http://www.destroyallguitars.com/amps/317-vaschenko
I’ve owned Custom Shop F and this is a step up – master built by Valery Vaschenko. Beautiful 5A US flame maple neck, Dave Allen 69 Voodoo pickups, Jescar fretwire, Gotoh hardware, Kluson tuners nitrocellulose finish..etc..etc Vaschenko also used black pearl dot inlay on the fretboard, depending on how the light catches it they either look traditional black or iridescent..stunning! Vaschenko instruments are world class – I’ve had 5 of them and currently own 3. He is an amazing builder. This guitar has the best of everything and all woods tone tapped and hand selected for perfect match - specs on this including neck dimensions are; Body – Select Alder Neck – 5A US Flame Maple Fretboard - Solid Maple (neck) Frets - Jescar Stainless Steel .104 x .057 Nut - Mastadone Tusk Neck Profile - C Neck Thickness - 21 - 23mm Neck Radius - 9.5" to 12" Compound Neck Inlay - Black Pearl Dot Tuners - Kluson Pickups - David Allen 69 Voodoo Color - Sonic Blue Finish - Thin nitrocellulose Lacquer Condition is excellent+ - there are a couple of indentations in the paint I tried to capture and a light red mark on the top of the larger horn which I’ve also captured – no biggie – I just like to mention these things. As with anything, if you would like more photos of any part of the guitar, let me know. Price $2500 shipped CONUS / Canada Trades? Would consider a trade for a recent (with new revoicing) Taylor short scale Grand Concert guitar preferably in Cedar/Macassar Ebony or Cedar/Walnut. Could add some cash if needed for the right one. I have a 2000 Taylor 814Bce with Brazilian. It has some wear and tear but is a rare guitar if you're interested in a trade.

To clarify a few questions I've received elsewhere on the trade option;
It's only the short scale I'm looking for on the Taylor and The reason I have specified Taylor for the trade comes down to playability. I find the necks to be extremely comfortable. I'm not familiar with other builders who offer a similar level of playability, that's why I didn't specify. If you have a GC sized instrument with the playability / neck shape of a Taylor in Cedar/Walnut or Cedar/Macassar then we should talk. |

I'll leave this up for a few more days guys.
It's unlikely I'll find the trade I'm after - it's a very specific wish list, I know. Still available for sale for the moment.. |
