It's the reserve price of "well over $xxxx" that's particularly ludicrous.

I don't know the exact age but it looks like it's maybe 8-10 years old. It has a crack going down the entire length of the back with a few pit marks but this guitar still plays easier then any guitar I have ever played....and my collection includes 2 Martin D-28's and and Gibson Hummingbird. Reserve is well over $1000 so don't bother asking. Google "Zager Guitar Reviews" and you can see why these guitars are rated as some of the best in the world.
oh!! okay that statement alone would make me not trust this fella.......

and this statement speaks for itself...........

Wasn't this guitar offered on E-Bay a couple of months back.

I seem to remember a similar discussion.

A crack down the back...I'LL TAKE IT !

(Why...the odds of the back cracking a second time are astronomical!)

Zager is a master of hype-- much akin to the likes of PT Barnum. A lot of people believe his sales pitch. It amazes me.
