I believe Paultergeist is the only one here who has verified taking up the 'early bird' offer presented here on the AGF. The offer was also available directly through the SoloAmp website, so who knows how many others were tempted...

My teachers always did say that I was in a class all by myself.

Sadly, the SoloAmp website appears to STILL be functional and accepting orders......

I feel bad for Paul in this ordeal.

Here are a few of his related sites. I was hoping to help you find a phone number, but there is squat on any of the links. I'd say you could check Facebook, but there responses to postings appear to go unasnswered.

http://kickshark.com
http://www.hydradock.com
http://www.raisetn.com

And I see on his LinkedIn, he's recently started yet another company, launching in 2018. http://www.samurai.ai

More from his LinkedIn:
Founder: uboxu...... "The project stalled prior to release due to running out of venture funding"
Founder: crowdpc, inc...."The project stalled prior to release due to running out of venture funding"
Founder: dotpad, inc....."The project stalled prior to release due to running out of venture funding"

Current Projects to name a few:
Current projects include:

HydraDock — USB Type C Connectivity Products
Showtailer — Revolutionary retail cloud platform
Raise! — Market leading intrastate equity crowdfunding platform
SoloAmp — High technology portable sound column
MagicJib — Amazing B-Roll Motion Tool For Video Cameras
Geminise — High Tech Double Wall Glassware
Kanga Hoodie — The Wraparound Pocket Hoodie
Bandzio — Make Any Watch A Smartwatch
SoloBench —Connected, Interactive Home Gym

I'm no sort of expert on consumer affairs, but if I found myself in a similar situation, here's what I'd do:

First, Send a letter to Soloamp – snail mail (registered or certified, whichever requires a signature from the recipient) – not email. Make sure you include your contact information; you want to make it easy for them to get in touch with you. Include all details of your transaction. And clearly and positively state that you want a refund because of the continued postponements.

Optional - If no refund is forthcoming, send the same letter again, this time noting that you had already sent a letter on such and such a date.

Then, a week or two later, it's time to get in touch with the bank that issued your credit card. They can bring some weight to the situation. I think it's very likely that these steps will result in you getting your money back.

Greetings Everyone,

I promised to update this thread with any additional developments. I have one tidbit of news:

When I originally ordered the SoloAmp (via the early Bird Deal), the shipping date was to be April 2016.

When the April 2016 shipping date did not manifest, the shipping date was changed to July 2016.

The July 2016 shipping date did not occur, either. Today -- as of 10 August 2016 -- the "Early Bird Pre-order" on the SoloAmp web-site lists an August 2016 shipping date.

I discovered this while documenting the web-site to the credit card company pursuant to initiating a charge dispute.

More information will be provided as this process unfolds. I am told by the credit card company that I should have some outcome from them within a couple of weeks.
